July 23, 2006 - Today I took a drive on Chaffee County Road 371 to the old Midland Tunnels. To get there, go north on North Colorado Avenue from East Main Street in Buena Vista, and the tunnels are about four to five miles north. |

Just north, there is a popular area for rock climbing. With all the rock structures in the area, rock climbing definitely appears to be a conducive activity! |
