I took this photo of Mt. Yale (alt. 14,197 feet) in November 2005 on a late afternoon.
It was fairly brisk outside and the setting sun to the west put some beautiful splashes on pink and purple on the peak.
Lastly, I actually took this picture ... while sitting behind the steering wheel of my car on Rodeo Road. I pulled over, rolled down the window and captured it with my digital camera. :) I have photographed Mt. Yale on numerous occasions, but this is clearly the photo I'm most proud of!
A few other mountain scenery pages are: Mt. Harvard, Mt. Princeton, Trout Creek Pass, Buffalo Peaks, Spring Canyon Turnoff.
