2006 - Today I walked up and down East Main Street in downtown Buena Vista, and I thought a pictorial of interesing historic buildings was in order. That's the Buena Vista City Hall building and the Lariat Bar & Grill to the left.

111 East Main - The triangular architecture makes this one interesting.

The old Colorado State Highway Department building.

The Pearl Movie Theater! It has one movie screen and served as the local movie theater for many years. This is not to be confused with the Comanche Drive-In four miles west of town on Chaffee County Road 306. :)

The Orpheum Theater.

On the northeast corner of East Main and Railroad Avenue.

The Buena Vista Heritage Museum, which formerly served as the Chaffee County Courthouse.
