Punky's Restaurant is located on East
Main Street, just a few blocks east of Buena Vista's one and only traffic light.
If you're looking for "good grub" in a diner-style ambiance, Punky's might be a wise option.
I should have taken a photo of their menu, but they serve homestyle cooked
lunch and dinner meals such as burgers, chicken, BBQ and other sandwiches. They
are also known for their wide variety of ice cream and teenagers have been known
to "hang out" there in the evening.
Visiting their "Buena Vista Wall of Fame" section is a must for
those who have a lot of community pride. Pictures of some of the best
athletes over the years from Buena Vista High School are proudly displayed.
As for this webmaster, I ordered the 1/2 cheeseburger (yes, I was hungry!) with fries and a drink ... It was delicious!
